Is there a max speed?

I'm using my Volvo truck. I can't get above 55MPH. MAYBE 66 if I'm lucky downhill.

55pmh is what your truck is limited to. If this is too slow for you, you can turn off the speed limiter in the options, and just go as fast as you dare.

So what trucks can go faster? And if I turn it off, will it be able to do like 200? I don't want that, but 55 MPH is too slow.

With my Volvo i can get more than 180 kph. (on downhill) Max speed (normal way) 170 kph.

No trucks can go faster, all are limited the same, be it KPH or MPH.

I've personally never turned the limiter off, so I couldn't tell you what speeds can be reached, but I know people have said around 180kph can be achieved.

Buy a Volvo, upgrade to 750hp and turn off limiter in game menu (Controls) Now, push tu the limit in a highway and enjoy!

I could understand that, but speeding just isn't worth it (Game-play wise) I just use that HP to climb hills better, not to blow out a Corvetted. Although fun to try. :rbiggrin:

Is not for run like a Corvette, is just to climb hills better, go out of a mine without problems, overtake a cars that go at 150kmp, and many more. I know there are purist in this game but there are other people that enjoy this game in other ways ;)

In real life the high HP for a truck is meant for climbing hills. NOT for speed. Too many of you noobs want speed. If so, go play GTA 4/5.

Well thanks for your opinion, but I'm not looking to take 45 real minutes to go across France. I want faster progress. I get bored really quickly, so.
