Petition for SCS Software to make a "Euro Bus Simulator"

I'm really not satisfied with the selection of bus driving games on the market. None of them have the polish and quality ETS2/ATS has, in my opinion.
With the experience SCS Software has in making maps, truck models and driving physics, they're uniquely in the position to make a fantastic bus simulator.

Most likely wont happen.

SCS teased a decade ago busses for a possible bus sim with the ETS2 Map (that is also why there where long time Bus terminals in different Cities) but that project seems to be long term frozen or it never gave any satisfying license agreements with the bus Manufacturers.

For your info.... SCS is going to implement busses in the update 1.55 or a bit later. They are also thinking on a bit more roleplaying in ETS2.

I follow a few vloggers on YouTube and they come with info directly from video-vlog from SCS self. The CEO of SCS talked about the idea to get more role play and busses (SCS made the Bus-simulator too). And they even think about Ambulance / Police / Fire brigade and road service vehicles. But the busses will be here soon, as you can see in the rebuild cities. Bus stops are already implemented.

Bus Stops are added in the Map since shortly of the mentioned bus tease a decade ago (not even sure if the Bus Terminals still exists in the rebuild german cities or if they got removed....do not actively search for that) and Bus stops where also added at least since then as Scenery objects in most parts of the maps (as those exist in real life too.....like other things you never will be able to drive in this game)

They (SCS) would probably sweep the floor with competition if they decide to develop another product such as American Bus Simulator/Europe Bus Simulator. Even Train Simulator.

As of now focus is on ATS/ETS2 and map expansions. No such plans on bus/train as far as I know.

SCS once developed a bus driving simulation game. The strong reason why they didn't seriously continue this franchise was in the deepest minds of the Sebor brothers. If you hear other people getting news other than them, then the news source is really in a high fantasy.

Yeah, I remember heard that very long time goal is to add all kinds of transportation vehicles able to drive, but that's just very long time goal. On the other hand, they're talking about an "idea." Just don't expect it to happen for next few years. And again, on the other hand, what do I know? Simply nothing.
