Slippery roads

ETS2 is a fantastic sim, but the roads getting slippery in the rain is not at all realistic. I am a retired truck driver from Canada with over 40 yrs driving and I have never seen a truck slide in the rain like in ETS2. This acts more like ice or freezing rain, or maybe if you had bald steer tires on your truck, other than that, all is good!

Mods involved? I've not had a truck slip in the rain at all, it does seem to want to tip over easier for some reason, but there's no sliding around. (this is with all the assists off)

I've encountered this extra slipperiness, and I have no mods that would affect it.

That small bit of extra slip during rain isn't really that big. Unless of course, you have mods that change that. Whether intended or not.

You can set the trailer to be less sluggish/slippery in the setups.

I can agree with that big time, I realise for those without "extra time" mods a long period of time at a reduced speed might get you near the "late delivery" zone but better to get there a bit late then with a crashed truck which can cost 200k to repair OR you get a "extra time" mod and never worry again about being late I have found lol

I will check my mod's but I don't think speed is a factor as in I have learnt to drive slower in the rain but will still slide. Point is in real life driving speed limit in the rain was never an issue, I live in BC, Canada, we are well used to rain.

I've never encountered slippery roads in the game, except in the christmas event location. Are your tires just weared by any chance?
