Anyone recomend a cockpit specificaly for Truck games?
Hi, Looking into buying a cockpit to take my love for ETS2 / ATS to the next level.

Thing is all these cockpits seem to simulate a sports car of some kind. IE its more like driving a Lamborghini that a truck. So you pedals are far away that the steering wheel and you have to adopt a virtually lying down position to drive.

I am after truck sim only. So want a more upright seating position and flatter steering wheel position.

Does anyone have any knowledge they could share on this please?

If all else fails, build it yourself, may even learn some new skills along the way, if you want it, maybe so does someone else, you may be able to make some cash off it too.
There is this:

Personally I can't justify spending that amount for a game specific wheel (although you can use it in Omsi Bus Simulator with some limitations apparently).
I don't know if it works on any other truck games out there as I have stuck with ETS2 since it came out.
I have a DD wheel but as I use it in several racing sims it was justified (or so I told the wife :HappyPCGuest:)

A proper enclosed cockpit would be really good to drive in, but I have the next best thing in my VR headset, sitting at the wheel, looking around the cab. Just my own opinion of course.
Just bare in mind the Hori wheel is really a budget wheel with higher tier pricing.

As for an actual cockpit. Buy wood, make your own. That's not sarcasm either, it's really the best way.
