Looking cool: We don't have your taste. Use the truck browser
Customization: Standard game roughly the same for all. Not sure about every small thing, sometimes you can't paint the door handles and only on few you can paint the radiator cover. Plus for some brands, but only the models out on release of the DLC there are tuning packs. I remember Scania, Volvo, DAF and Renault, without the claim of completeness. If you buy one of these, of course it turns the list upside down.
Volvo FH3 and FH4. Both only available in Used Truck dealer. Can be further expanded with this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1299530/Euro_Truck_Simulator_2__FH_Tuning_Pack/
The Volvo FH16 750 is the undisputed heavyweight champion, boasting a ridiculous 750 horsepower. It’s got excellent customisation, a sleek, modern look, and the raw grunt to drag a small country behind it. If you like your trucks like you like your tea—strong and capable of pulling anything—this is your best bet.
The Scania S730 is the trucker’s luxury yacht. With 730 horsepower, it’s slightly less powerful than the Volvo but makes up for it with insane customisation options and that unmistakable Scania front end. It’s the lorry equivalent of a suited gangster—refined, stylish, but still ready to throw down when needed.
For those who want something less mainstream but still packing a punch, the MAN TGX 2020 is a solid choice. It maxes out at 640 horsepower, which is still more than enough to haul whatever mess you've gotten yourself into. It’s modern and sophisticated, ideal for those who don’t need their truck to scream “midlife crisis.”
If you prefer a cab that looks like it’s from Blade Runner, the DAF XG+ is your ride. It’s got a futuristic design, a spacious interior, and a max of 530 horsepower. Not the strongest, but if you’re in no rush and want to feel like you’re piloting a spaceship rather than a truck, this one’s for you.
Then there’s the Mercedes-Benz Actros—the posh option for those who like things smooth, reliable, and with a touch of class. It pushes out up to 625 horsepower and handles like a dream. Think of it as the sensible choice, for people who enjoy spreadsheets and a neatly organised cab.
If you just want to bully hills into submission, go Volvo FH16 750. If you want the best mix of power, style, and deep customisation, the Scania S730 is your lorry. Anything else is just choosing how much compromise you’re willing to put up with.
