Is version 1.53 completely broken?

Hello everyone, i hope you are doing fine. I've been playing for a few years, i really love the game, and i never had this kind of problems. Besides having issues with the mods (it was just the google navigation one that's not working), it just crashes when i tried to use the trailer and it also crashed when i tried to do fast travel, so i literally can't do anything. I'm not arround the forums much so i'm just trying to know if it's just this version that's being particulary troublesome or stuff like this happen in every update? I'll just wait and see if stuff get fixed but it would be really helpful if you let me know how this version is working for you! Thanks.

Disable all your mods or create a new profile with no mods ever on it and try again. I have zero issues with 1.53 or the new Greece DLC for that matter (on fresh new profile with no mods ever on it).

According to some players on here, every update is completely broken and/or causes reduced fps or some other anomalies. None of which is the fault of the game.
Out of date and incompatible mods are the main cause, followed by unsuitable game settings and unrealistic expectations of their hardware's capabilities.
There was a bug causing crashes, due to the heavy cargo DLC, but that was reported immediately and fixed in the recent patch, I believe, but just disabling it in the DLC list will remove it.
Look back in the forum over any number of updates released and the recurring pattern will become obvious and the fixes always the same.
If an update was truly completely broken, I would guess there would be rather more posts from the roughly 36,000 players seen playing ETS2 on Steam, don't you?

Version 1.53 is working Perfectly. Stop using mods. They Will mess your game up.

After a crash, post your complete game.log.txt and crash log to pastebin.com (no account needed) and then post the link here and we'll have a look for you (split the game.log.txt into multiple pastes if it is too big).

The problem is not the mods, this version is crashing when you open the external contracts and a specific type of trailer is loaded. From what I read it is related to the Heavy Cargo DLC, new trailers were added to this DLC and they make the game crash.

That has been Fixed in todays update.

Not broken at all on my end.

That said, I did have the crash issue because of that heavy cargo bug but once I had identified the problem it was easy to avoid it until it get fixed (which it was with yesterday's update).

works perfectly on my end too, and i still use my HCT europe and more traffic mods without issues. so far i like greece, trhe cities are compact like the balkans, makes navigating with double trailers a challenge, but thats the whole point of why i use the mod

Simple test: Can you reproduce it on a vanilla profile (no mods ever in it)? If not, it is a mod issue.

There's a recurring crash while driving on the hidden road in Kavala, even after the patch that corrected the trailers crash. It already crashed 3 times in the same area, in different ocasions. I have only one mod that is a voice for the GPS navigation.
