Trucky. What are your thoughts on this app.
I want to get an idea of how it's use can enhance the game experience.

just another jacket of apps like trucksbook, spedv, triplog and god knows what else there is.

[edit] 3rd party software is entirely your own risk to take. scs will not answer help requests concerning mods and/or 3rd party apps. just so y'alls know. if any trouble, you're on your own.

Jave you tried it yourself, Gary?

I never used it myself but it looks like something you easily can do manually, download the mod and put it into the mod folder.

I have tried an "all-in-one" app from Trucky that seems to contain a whole bunch of functions, like HUD windows cluttering the screen, an awkward-to-use dispatcher, etc.

I am resistant to apps that tries to "we take care of everything for you, we know better than you what you want". Needless to say, that app got removed the same day it was installed...

I installed it, to see how it runs. At first glance, I am £445,000 in debt according to it's economy. I don't own Trucks I rent them. It records everything I do in ETS2 and ATS. I don't quite know what the point of it is, but it looks like you gain credence for the deliveries and money one makes. I wanted to see what other users think of the app. Thank you for the reply.

I'm well aware thank you. I was after feedback on those that have used it or are using it. But thank you for your reply.

Hiya mate. I tried Trucky, but I found that for my personal preference that Trucksbook was better. That is also the one that the VTC I am a member of uses for the most part.
Trucky just seemed to be far more complicated to use, but that as I say, is just my personal opinion. Others may well say the opposite.
I use trucky only for the overlay game bar with all the information about the job and truck. You can also customize it.

I am a member of a VTC and they use trucksbook
Thank you, to Priscilla and Nomad64 for their feedback. I think I will give Trucky a pass.

Besides of their VTC apps (available for Windows, Linux and Mac, in addition of companion Android app), Trucky Desktop Mods Manager (TDMM) is another mod source I recommend after SCS forum and Steam workshop. TDMM has essential features like workshop does offer: automatic mod updates and automatic versioning. One advantage compared to workshop, they allow map mod download.

All mods in Trucky website also well managed and each mod must be maintained by original creator and contributors—no stolen mods allowed there.

for me it helps me not to game too long, it shows the time in real clearly and how long my job will take in real life time. Which is an important tool for me.

it also helps me know the speed my cruise control is set on.
