New stability control
Has anyone else noticed that in the new update (1.54), the stability control feels off? When you add something fun to the game, like a car or SUV, and take a turn at a decent speed (around 80 km/h), it either understeers or oversteers and ends up rolling over. The driving physics definitely felt better in the previous version. I really hope they work on this, because right now it's almost impossible to go over 120 km/h on a highway like you could in the previous version — or in real life.

If the physics for your mods changed then this is due to SCS using PhysX now and this is something the mod authors need to adjust their mods to.
Please keep in mind that issues with modded content is not the problem of the devs.

That is not a problem of the game but of the mod. What are you expecting from a truck that is looking like a car?
Complain to the mod author.

The thing is that i've tried a different variety of mods in both versions (1,53 and 1,54) and there's a clearly big difference between both versions using the same cars. Even with trucks and buses there is a traction, suspension and stability problem in the game.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I agree with Wolfgang, ETS2 and ATS are games for TRUCKS, not race driving games.
So when SCS change something in their code, they made it for better driving of trucks, and of course the mods made for cars walks away...
If you want speed, go to F1 or other race car games ; if you want precision and chill driving, stay on ETS2 and ATS with respect to SCS settings.
