as for the second-hand part, it's also for acquiring the modern models just with big/huge mileage on them instead of brand spanking new. hence, USED trucks dealership.
You could also just not buy the used truck.
If the second hand has better accessories, engine or transmission, i don't see the issue.
Might have been 250k new with those accessories.
Don't buy trucks secondhand, they are not a good investment.
Buy new, drive it and get some high paying jobs, then add all the accessories and add all the customisation you want after you have saved some cash. The money will roll in, in vast quantities, if you employ a few drivers with the cheapest most basic new trucks.
you also wrote so were you comparing the old actros vs the new actros? if yes, then you were comparing tomatos vs bananas. why? because:
- paintjobs have different prices, even for single colours
- transmissions have different prices, especially the top ends
- cabs have different prices.
and also because you would be comparing an old model VW Beetle to a new model of VW beetle. of course there would be price differences. so still, tomatos vs bananas.
