Project Japan map now very unstable
Has anyone else noticed this? Just tried to complete a few jobs on the Japan map mod and it just constantly crashes (even if the mods for Project Japan are the only mods running).

Did the devs abandon it?

Contact the mod author. Nothing anyone in here can do about it.

The mod authors are Japanese lol. I was asking other people who use the mod.

So? Contact them in English and give them the Japanese version via Google Translate. It won't be perfect but you have a chance that they will at least reply.

Mate, not being funny but you're not a Steam moderator, I don't need your permission to ask other ETS2 players who use Project Japan if they're having issues.

"Also helping in the ATS and ETS2 community". Yeah right. So far all you've done is been UN helpful. If your default answer for mods is "contact the mod author" you're not helping.

What version do you install?
Project Japan currently at version 1.1.2 for ETS2 1.53 and version 1.1.1 for ETS2 1.52.

https://ets2.jp/en/

Also you need these DLCs:
• Italia
• Vive la France!
• Going East!
• Scandinavia
• Beyond the Baltic Sea
• Road to the Black Sea
• Iberia
• West Balkans

Installation guide goes here:
https://ets2.jp/en/projectjapan-ver-1-1-2-for-ets2-v1-53-%e5%b0%8e%e5%85%a5%e6%89%8b%e9%a0%86/

Do not download the mod other than provided in the official mod website.

Why do you think just because a mod crashes, which can have even reasons outside of the mod, that it would be abandoned?

The Website says the last version is 1.1.2 for ets patch 1.53 .....which seems not to be that old to speak of some abandoned mod.......

All I am saying is that if you have issues with that mod contacting the mod author is the best way to fix any issues you have with that mod.
If it is a mod issue then only the mod author can fix it.

I hope you understood that now. Especially that at no point I told you that you aren't allowed to ask here.

Because the last update was over a year ago - December 2023.

Yes, I own all DLC available for ETS2 apart from a few paint jobs.

As for it saying Dec 2024, if you go back a page it says Dec 2023. So no idea which one is correct.

As for the install, it's ridiculously easy - easier than Promods, because all of the main mod files are numbered in the mod manager screen.

I'm rolling back to temporary 1.53x for now.

Please report any issues with it to the mod author.
