The Electric Trucks

I hope that SCS gives us an update soon as to the progress of getting the electric trucks available in the game, I love driving the ones that they are testing and am looking forward to being able to buy some for my fleet once available, I know it will take some time yet but thats why I would not mind seeing an update on the progress.

I'm curious. What's the appeal about electric trucks in the game for you?
I don't like it because of the barely existing engine sound, similar to a heavily muffled vacuum cleaner.

I find it a smoother ride and has a better 0-60 type ratio than the regular trucks.
I also like that there is less noise which I find it better.

Same with me. What else could one want, besides better views from the cabin? Talking 'bout pleasant ride here. Well, I hate vacuum cleaner sound also...

EDIT: It's kinda like Rolls Royce or Bentley. It's not all about the luxury, it's also the silence.
