Can we finish a delivery devs? If 1.53 was not ready why to release it? All new trucks are very poorly equipped ,and some players report crashes ....
I start thinking on going back on an older version in order to play .....

There are times with any game that when a patch is released, a problem pops up after release, that the developers did not encounter when making the patch.
You do know that we do not live in a world where everything and everyone is perfect.

Opt out of auto update then update game when you have finished delivery

Don't take contracts you can not finish.

Cannot plan for events in r/l as has happened to me in mid delivery on several occasions.

Yes , i agree , is the 3rd delivery which i cancel since i installed 1.53 , and i have not managed to finish neither a small one !!!

Yes, you can finish a delivery, if necessary by managing the updates of the game. It isn't hard to do. External contracts can simply be resumed whilst the rest can be finished by taking Steam offline before starting the game. I haven't 'lost' a delivery in game in years and feel that the advice to always finish a delivery is asinine, albeit that I do regularly end up with late WoT deliveries because of real life getting in the way of my virtual trucking.

As to the updates, not all have been bug fixes. Post the initial release of v1.53 we've had the release of the Greek DLC, Iveco S-Way, Winterland event and Volvo FH5/6 plus three bug fix releases as a result of issues in all bar the Winterland update.

If you're so annoyed by udpates, just stay on the current version. Go back to it using the beta branch if an update is installed.
