I own a volvo dlc, but I cannot use it anywhere in the new truck.

If you mean the tuning dlc, that only works on the FH5, not on the FH6, if you mean something else then you have to elaborate.

edit, and ofcourse also works on the FH3 and FH4

I wish it would work on the new Volvo, but thats the problem with SCS, they make DLC packs that wont fit new trucks.
So to new people out there, dont buy those tunning DLC packs, save your money and go for MODS, they tend to make the mods work on new trucks too.

SCS has to comply to the license agreements of the manufacturers.
If they do not say it is ok to fit existing stuff on them then they wont do it.....

I did find a few few, literally few, parts of the FH DLC that are applicable to FH6, but most, sadly, aren't. And the overall customisation of that truck are very limited, especially on the Aero variants. What I mind most is that stupid black bar under the logo, bellow that Globetrotter writing and air filter, all of which having paint option on older Volvo trucks and also no roof light bar. Otherwise, it's great truck with really strong engine, but this limited customisation is a reason why I will, probably, revert to older Volvo trucks. That and the fact I have no clue where the hell this truck has fuel indicator. If anyone can tell me where it is, I would appreciate that.

I noticed, i cant apply my decorative cab lights on FH6 Aero. If I change to non Aero, the lights are available. Don't have the FH tuning DLC.

So, is only the FH6 Aero affected, or both variants?

SCS should update the FH DLC to work for the new FH6, bit of a shame it was not ready for launch, would love to customise the new truck.

It all comes down to what the manufacturer wants. SCS has basically no say in this. They especially can't "just do" stuff with the licenced trucks.

When Volvo give SCS permission to do so, I would imagine that SCS will update the DLC. For now what Volvo says SCS must comply with, or SCS will lose their licence to put Volvo trucks in the game.

The problem is the truck is so new that you don't find much Tuningparts in reallive, where will they come in ETS 2

Seriously, guys, did anyone figure out where FH6 has fuels indicator? If so, please tell me, because I am at a loss and going on a road without this important info is no good.
