I feel completely lost with sound mods.

I want to install engine sound mods and I have no idea which one I should use. I looked at the options in the workshop and it's a mess. The only one that is clear in what it does is the "Renault T improved engine sound".

I just bought a Scania, which mod should I subscribe? I'm considering only mods from Steam.

The best thing to do is create a manual save just before installing any sound mods. Pick one from the workshop, install it, and try it out. If it isn't what you're looking for, remove the mod, load the manual save, resave, and try another mod.

There is no "best" engine sound mod. Ask 10 players and they will recommend 10 different mods.

Unfortunately, ETS2 seems to differ from ATS in the way Modders decided to create sound mods .. In ATS, there are generally packs that cover all trucks, but it seems in ETS2, you will need to find a sound mod for each truck individually.

Sorry, I didn't look at the date. I'm using the Scania sound for the RJL Scania and it works for me.
