All of my mirrors are broken... they are black

my mirrors are black, no reflection, nothing, they just dont work.. If i turn on my f2 mirrors my upper mirrors work fine BUT when i turn f2 mirrors off again they freeze.. lets say that i am passing a bridge with my f2 mirrors on, then i turn off my f2 mirrors, my real mirrors in the truck are frozen in place.. the reflecition i see from the mirrors in the bridge.. until i turn my f2 mirrors on again my mirrors are still stuck in the bridge.. i dont know how to explain it but my mirrors reflection of the road just stops until i turn f2 mirrors on again.. if someone knows about this glitch plz help me. i have no mods not from steam or from a website and i have deleted the game and downloaded again to see if that fixes the problem but i didnt.. plz help me..

Video board drivers, up to date? Just in case, which truck brand and model, cabin, mirror type are you using? And do it happens everywhere or on specific places? Worth to take a look in your game.log.txt file if there are warnings or errors that may relate to it.

well.. every truck is broken and in every place.. the only place my mirrors work is in the garage when i am editing my truck

i checked the game log.. i didnt understand a think but as far as i saw theres nothing about my mirrors..i was thinking of maybe copying the game log and pasting it here but its way to big..

Can you upload a screenshot showing a black mirror and its relative virtual mirror working?

Edit: you can copy-paste the whole content of your game log on pastebin.com then leave here its page's URL.

Edit 2: one more thing worth trying; inside Documents/ETS2 there is a config.cfg file, rename it as config.cfgold; then do the same inside profiles folder (your current profile with this issue) for both config.cfg and config_local.cfg, rename them as .cfgold then launch the game.

If all goes well game will recreate all three files with default settings and if with those your mirrors are working again you can still check your older versions and maybe got back to those after finding how to fix those.

If nothing at all changes even with the new files, delete the new files and remove "old" from your previous files and you will be back exactly as before -.- Fingers crossed ^^x

I love the way Wolf says; "Not happening at my end" as if that is the benchmark. If you have a mod, any mod, delete it. Sell everything you purchased while that mod was installed. Go into settings, graphics, and use the lowest settings. If the mirrors are still black, you are missing code.

Just the opposite here. My game looks better when looking into my mirrors than looking out the windshield.

I had this problem with the Volvo, you need to find a mirror fix mod, that's what did it for me, no more problems.

when the bug or whatever it is i had no mods installed and i was playing at the lowest setting and i bought nothing. now about a missing code i have no idea
