Headhunter achievement bug (?)

Greetings everyone.

Is anyone having trouble with getting the "Headhunter" achievement? I already discovered all the recruitment agencies and I also drove into all of them, as I could see on the map (it shows the yellow colour for all of the discovered places).

Does anyone know if it is a recurring bug or what?

Would like to know it me too : / Only one so far looks like that managed to get it with "current" version (maybe not 1.45, maybe it was still with 1.44 as passed some time now).

Had you ever installed map mods on your profile, or mods that modify map to some extent? Those are the first suspect because even if removed there are always some leftovers inside save itself (and at worst they may eventually make impossible to load it anymore).

How old is your profile? Since which version are you playing? Is your profile saved on Steam Cloud?

If do you feel brave enough to remove any DLC you have, create a new, mod free, locally saved profile with base game only, then focus on driving toward those agencies only, would at least confirm if current version is bugged or if the issue is somewhere inside saves. Or if do you want to test anything in between 1.37 and 1.45, any feedback is greatly appreciated : )

I don't have any DLC maps installed, I uninstalled all of them before I started the profile I am playing in in order to get the achievements easily. I don't use any mods, I installed one of them to be sure I overlooked any agencies. I am using the most recent version of the game and I already read multiple discussions of players having this same issue :(

Yes, I do confirm. It is really weird. I am also afraid that other achievements won't be activated when the requirements are met in the future.

Recently that and 100% map discovery are the two recurring topics, but 100% still falls in the large cauldron of "user error", in the meaning that players are still missing some micro piece here and there (and for micro I really mean micro, like 1 pixel wide) -.-

Most of those that gave troubles in the past are either fixed or there is a sure workaround with specific steps on how to achieve them. So, what will do you try next? 1.36 (sure to work), or anything else in between 1.37~1.44? ^^'

Oh man, that is bad. I don't want to go back in the game's version, but I am willing to if there is no other way. I just want to play the game freely and get the achievements like everyone hehe :D

Then you can wait for a fix (but I'm not sure if devs ever acknowledged it as a bug) or be a pioneer and rule out one more of those game version ; ) If you choose to wait it may remains behind maybe until the very end, but as you still have plenty to grab I would say that it is perfectly fine to wait : )

I got pathfinder today but never received headhunter. I remember there being a way to send support messages for achievements in the past but I can no longer find it :/

for me that achievement worked in this way... i was playing on 1.46 public_beta, made it complete, the achievement didn't come up, i was searching the map for maybe forgotten agency over and over.. and nothing, then i decided to downgrade to 1.45 due to the event 10th anniversary, didn't knew the saves from 1.46 wont work.. so once i opened the game after the downgrade and login to my main account.. all of sudden the achievement pop-up so now i have it.. not sure if is going to work for you and somebody else, just sharing what i accidentally find out

@Ace - your finding is quite interesting. As I tried it on a new Steam account on v1.45 and it didn't unlock, there is something off place if a downgrade with an incompatible save works ^^' So for everyone that technically has it in any version, the solution would be to downgrade one step and launch the same profile? Maybe I will go to test it myself as I'm still in time : )

@Ace - you must have been lucky, or that specific downgrade being the key. As I tried to downgrade from 1.45 to 1.44 and the achievement didn't unlock ^^'

Updating this discussion so the matter can be closed: after updating the game, I got the "headhunter" achievement (I suppose it was really a bug) and I also got the "parking challenge" achievement. So everyone who has or had the same problem, maybe it was something they fixed on this last update. Thank you for all your info and support!
