Volvo FH16 Classic - Exhaust Pipes
Hi

I am pretty sure I am missing something obvious, but for some reason I can't get the new shiny chrome exhaust pipes to show up in the upgrade centre. The game tells me I have unlocked them (definitely for the FH16 classic, not the other one, and I am indeed driving a classic), and I have experimented with all sorts of chassis / roof combinations, but I cannot find them anywhere. Help :)

Ahhh OK

I thought they were UPRIGHT exhausts that sat behind the cab, like those cool american trucks. Turns out you have to downgrade to the simple 4x2 chassis, THEN select full skirts, THEN add these rather silly parallel-to-floor exhausts that look like they should be fakes. Oh well.

Also, do any of the upgrades really do anything performance wise, or is it all just truckfap material?

Thanks for posting this. I had the same question. As for your other question, it is being discussed here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/227300/discussions/0/684839199011509075/

Nope exaust doesn't effect the performance, its just for looks.

Only thing that effects how the truck handles and performs is the engine, transmission and axle type

That's not true mate. Whe call it " free exaut's - chapement libre " and it will improve the pulling-power ( torque ) because all off the filter's are removed. Whe pay more taxe's if whe place sutch an exaust.

In real life it effects performance, but in game it doesn't, sorry for not being clear enough :p
