Keyboard keys as Hshifter

Is there a way to assign keyboard keys to H-shifter gears? there could be a way of doing it manually in control.sii file but wasn't able to figure it out :/

It's in the options. I have shift up assigned to the E key and shift down to the Q. With W as the gas pedal it works quite nicely.

It's under Options, Keyboard

. You can assign any key you like to any gear selection you wish, including the assignment of the two splitter actions. So you could h-shift with the numpad for example, if one wanted to.

Tried assigning:
Num 4 - 1st/7th gear
Num 1 - 2nd/8th gear
....

but the thing is, only recognizes gamepad keys. but found a way of doing it so thanks :)

Gearbox = Simple Automatic
Steering = Left Analog Stick
Acceleration\Brake = Right Analog Stick (Forward\Back)

Start\Stop Engine = Hat switch Right
Left+Right Blinkers = Left and Right Bumpers. (Button 4 and 5)
Light Mode = B (Button 3)
High Beam = Y (button 1)
Wipers = X (Button 2)
Cruise Control = A (Button 0)

HUD CONTROLS
Toggle Route Advisor Mode F3 = Left Analog Stick Button 8
Route Advisor Mouse Control F1 = Right START Button 7
Route Advisor Navigation Page F5 = Left BACK Button 6
Route Advisor Diagnostics Page F7 = Hat Switch Left

(NO MOUSE REQUIERED to look left\right\FORWARD)
LOOK LEFT\RIGHT = LEFT TRIGGER\RIGHT TRIGGER
INTERIOR Look FORWARD = LEFT ANALOG STICK FORWARD

Activate Enter = Hat Switch UP
Trailer Attach\Detach = Hat Switch DOWN
World Map = Right Analog Stick Press Button 9
You may need to SLIDE your (Look Left+Right Axis dead zone) one third and Inverted and Centered.
Iam using a Razer Sabertooth with extra buttons under the controlor. ETS2 just the BEST!!!!!.

I have 360 controller and wanted to change gears with Range-Splitter via keyboard, but I sacrificed few controls on 360 controller and managed to pull it of :D

Anyway here is my 360 setup if anyone is interested


LEFT ANALOG - Steering
LEFT ANALOG BUTTON - Gear Toggle 1 or 2
RIGHT ANALOG - Looking Left/Right
RIGHT ANALOG DOWN - Clutch
RIGHT ANALOG BUTTON - Camera 1

D-Pad RIGHT - Reverse
D-Pad DOWN - Lowest Gear
D-Pad LEFT - Middle Gear
D-Pad UP - Top Gear

BACK - Gear Toggle 1 or 2 (can't remember)
START - Toggle Gps Window (F3 on keyboard)

A - Retarder Increase
X - Retarder Decrease
Y - Light Horn
B - Exhaust Brake

LB/RB - Blinkers
LEFT TRIGGER - Brake
RIGHT TRIGGER - Gas
