To dark at Night.
When it is night i can't :
Park the trailer manually at the destination AND
can't turn on a corner because i can't see to the sides.
because it is pitch black.

hmm, that is dark! you have a low end graphics card and have the graphics turned down? not sure what to to say to help if that is the case. Otherwise maybe try updating your graphics card drivers

Got same problem, the night is way too dark, looking for a mod to save this, but would also love better interior views at night, its too dark.

there is something wrong if it is that dark though. it would be better to find out why, if it's a driver problem or what? Rather than try to find a mod to correct something that is basically broken to begin with, fix the real problem

In my case, I suspect its my monitor, this game lacks a brightness control like all the other games have. But the cabin interior is way too dark at night also, I think I need something to get a brighter interior at night.

I had the same problem, and maybe it is the graphics card as I have an aging HD 5570 which I really should replace. But there is a brightness control in the graphics options which fixed it fine for me.

Options ... Graphics ... 2nd option is Brightness

looks like that is just a mod that does what timtomtoo pointed out can be done yourself, from the description.

have you calibrated your display ???

Found out I had to turn on an option in my graphics settings called HDR, now its too bright and I had to turn down the brightness a little bit to make it more accurate.

BlackOpen's "Improved Weather" mod has brighter nights as well.

you could try also to increase gamma setting in your graphics card setting.

i also think that your backlights are relatively bright. so if everythings black while you're driving backwards you either have a bug that "eats light" or you should set your options for lighting higher
Helghast 12 ABR 2014 a las 2:06
Same problem here. Brightness ist 100%

This one by velo/ZwareJongens could be worth a try: http://don1.home.xs4all.nl/ETS2/#night
I have not tryed it, have no problems with the darknes. But make sure you only have one mod active that changes the weather files.
