Origin and Steam

Hey Guys! I have already purchased ETS:2 on origin over a year ago. I was wondering that if I buy it on steam, would I have to reinstall the game or can i transer files? I only want to buy it on steam for the cheap DLC which Origin is never going to offer.

you don't need to purchase it on steam, you can simply click add a game on the bottom of steam and use your origin product code. thats how i done it as i bought it via origin when it was first released.

Yes, I know about that thanks, but I want to repurchase it with the DLC because it's cheaper than it will be on Origin

You'll have to click "Install" button, then wait for a few percents, then you need to stop download and transfer your files. Then click on "Verify game cache" or something like that, it should check the files and redownload different one's.
