mouse moves down
I've tried the usual fix in controls.sii, doesn't work, mouse keeps moving down by itself. I can still move it but I can't really click on anything except with some good luck.
Anyone encountered this problem (and knows a fix)?

Did you set your wheel as a device for mouse cursor? Launch the game with the safe mode, it should reset known mouse pointer devices.

I think i must, the mouse moves with the pedals and the wheel. Thnx for the tip!

Are you sure you aren't clicking on Use when it asks you if you want to use the device as a mouse cursor? Because if you do, this happens. Some people just don't read it at all and always click on Use...

do you have any type of game controller plugged in? this is almost always the cause of these type of issues.

hi guys had the same problem. went into game options, controllers, scrolled to bottom and there was an option for ALTERNATE MOUSE CURSOR CONTROLLER - RESET. Good luck.

cant even get to options as mouse moves too fast to top of screen! can i delete config file?

Have you unplugged all other usb devices except for the mouse?

When setting up a button box, the mouse started floating as soon as I set the first button. I went into controls like you said, and hit refresh. It then asked if I want to use my wheel and box as mouse, and I said ignore. Problem solved. Thank you

Make sure you don't have an xbox controller or some other controll plugged it, since you typically want zero deadzone on wheels even the slightest immeasurable tilt of an analog stick will cause the cursor to move.
