mirror resolution
Hi guys, I have an issue that I have tried for days to try and fix, which is the very bad rear view mirror quality. I run a GTX 670 card and for some reason when looking at the mirrors they are very jaggy like bad aa issue or something. All other veiws are fine, but it does make it hard parking the trailer in bad light or when it rains because the quality is so bad. The settings are on high for the rear view qaulity in the graphics section.
Cheers, and thanks for any help.

Thanks Doc, but thats already set on high.
When youlook out your mirrors, do you see the lines of the cabin have jagged edges?

It happens at mine too, that's probably due to poor textures from the mirror.

mirrrors are clear no lines ..i just took some screen shots i think you should be able to see them on my profile..

Bit hard to tell at night, but there are some jagged edges on the building or pole that is on the drivers side mirror, and some on the cab on the pax side mirror.

Looks good. I'll have to work out how to put some screen shots up too. Whats the farming sim like?

In your Documents folder, open up the Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder. The same one where you put your mods in.

In the config.cfg, set both

uset r_mirror_scale_y "1.0"
and
uset r_mirror_scale_x "1.0"

to 2.0 or any value you desire, this will scale the resolution of the mirrors.

You can also play around with the bloom settings in the file, if daytime is annoyingly bright for you.

I use 200% scaling as well and I get jaggies. I need 400% to be completely blur-free but at the cost of my gameplay being jaggy-stuttery!
