Is Logitech Driving Force GT wheel good? Is good for ETS2 ?
Hello guys!
First, I am in love with this game. I played Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2 many time, and ETS2 is amazing, really.
I recently bought it and I want to buy a new wheel (but I cant spend much for G27).
I am using Microsoft X360 racing wheel but it hasn't force feedback on PC (lack of drivers).

Logitech Driving Force GT seems good.
Is a good wheel guys? Is good for this game?

Thanks!

It is the best "basic" wheel you can use for ETS 2. Has 900 degrees of rotation and good FFB.
I have one and i do love to play ets 2 with it. I do miss the H-shifter, but i can't afford the g27 either.

its garbage, youll never be happy with that wheel. If you are SERIOUS about getting into driving/racing sims nothing compares to the G25 or better. The fact is you will spend a minimum of 150$ to get them used. I would also recomend this http://us.fanatec.com/index.php?region=us&language=en. The fact is there is no ♥♥♥♥♥ footing around if you want to join the pc master race! Ya gotta dive in. Its like having sex- ya dont just put the tip in!

I know the G27 cost a lot, and yes i have seen that you can't spend so much money n a wheel. But my advise is still do it anyway, you will not be desapointed when yoou have it. I have the G27 and i wonder how i even had play the game before that.
But how I said, I am not that SERIOUS.
G27 is 120%, 130% more expensive in my country. I can't pay for that.
I tried this game, I fall in love, and bought the Driving Force GT because of the recommendations in forums and a friend. It works perfectly fine, I use it almost everyday. Maybe one day when I can afford the g27 I could buy it, but anyways.. I'd like a Truck version of the g27, and it doesn't exist anyways so.. I'm kinda happy with the wheel.
For all intents and purposes... you would be fine with the Driving Force GT. Not sure why it is referred to "Basic". I guess the only basic thing about it is the sequential shifter and no clutch. The only bad thing I would say is there are rare occassions when the wheel can be finicky (eg: the odd time the wheel cannot find center, or profiler cannot find wheel and reinstalling software fixes that) It's a pretty good wheel for the price.

When I say Basic is this game was meant for a 900 degree wheel. The DFGT is the most basic wheel you can get with that function.

This is THE BEST general purpose force-feedback wheel. Not only does it work for GT5 on PS3, but it is compatible with ETS2 and works VERY well. It also works very well for the wallet.

Good Investment. Driving Force GT is a good wheel to use. Nothing is wrong with it for general gaming. I use mine for ETS2 and Iracing. I did replace the pedals and bought a act labs shifter. The wheel works great
Thanks Jax.
I like simulators but I am not hardcore simulator gamer. I think this wheel will do very good.
I am anxious waiting my new wheel, hehehehe....
Let me know please guys...
How is the DFGT force feedback in this game? Feels great?
I was playing without force feedback. So I think I will play "another" game with the new wheel.
