oh sorry.. I Meant the Dashboard Lights* not the cabin one.. But I Guess you right.. it could be my Monitor settings.
It's not like a car that has a sloping screen. A cab screen is very "slab" like so if the sun is not shining through a window it can appear very dark inside the cab, just like it would be in real life.
The new "realistic" lighting introduced in 1.40 can take a bit of getting used to because we was so used to everything being lit. It was very unrealistic but we got used to it. Now we have to get used to the new and more realistic lighting.

It will and it does but it will depend on where the sun is in relation to the position of the truck cabin.
I have had it happen many times, both in trucks and cars.
On a Toyota Corrola T-Sport I had the dash was invisible if the sun shone on it and it was backlight all the time.
if you move the moues down it gets lighter
Cabrio? ;)
No the Corrola T-Sport is not.
