do you mean adjust the cabin lights? i tried it .. but it seems that it only affects the speedometer and some other stuff .. i mean the interior itself is very dark at day .. it looks like i'm driving at night. when the sun is not illuminating the cabin is almost driving at night.

There are no cabin lights in the game. But it might either be due to the brightness setting of your screen or in the game.
Can you post a screenshot?

That looks fine to me, remember it will depend on where the "sun" is coming from in the cab.
It's not like a car that has a sloping screen. A cab screen is very "slab" like so if the sun is not shining through a window it can appear very dark inside the cab, just like it would be in real life.
The new "realistic" lighting introduced in 1.40 can take a bit of getting used to because we was so used to everything being lit. It was very unrealistic but we got used to it. Now we have to get used to the new and more realistic lighting.

I support Breenos statement. Since 1.40 I find the Instruments not very well readable. Yes I rather like it bright and in 1.39 I drove all day with lights on. Maybe we're a minority but well, it was better before. And from a former real driver's perspective. The sun doesn't shine on the main instruments ever so you can't read the speed. It just doesn't happen. So maybe it's a fancy effect but not real real :)

You can make the dashboard easier to read by scaling btw.

Oh really, the sun does not shine on instruments, are you having a laugh !
It will and it does but it will depend on where the sun is in relation to the position of the truck cabin.
I have had it happen many times, both in trucks and cars.
On a Toyota Corrola T-Sport I had the dash was invisible if the sun shone on it and it was backlight all the time.

Not surprising, as this is simulated adaptation of the eyes to darker environment. Which happens to your eyes too. (Should know this when going into a dark place)
