maximum speed 110 km/h ?!?

so, whats the point of upgrading your engine if you can't go faster than 110 km/h, is there any way to disable this limit, without mods?

There is the 90kph limit that can be deactivated from the gameplay options.

Otherwise, 150-160 is a feasible speed with a loaded truck.

If you play on Multiplayer Mod you can go faster than 110 km/h. You must go to Europe #2 server. There is no speed limit.

i have reached 130 on a volvo truck so i think there is no such limit

Okay guys, I was wrong, there is no limit in singleplayer (if you disable it), I always play multiplayer, so I didn't notice that.

Strange. Because I'm getting all various speed limits even on Singleplayer with the optional speed limiter disabled. Either ETS MP permanently tuckled with my savefile, or theres something strange with the game itself. I remember, atleast, that it never used to have such speed limits before (neither in SP nor MP)

Speed limiter is always enabled for WoT jobs(External Contracts). If you're doing those the box will be unchecked but you'll still be limited. I think if you look close you can see that the box is grayed-out a little bit.

If you're doing standard jobs, I don't know. Turning it off in options should work.

That's excactly what i did. I'm doing standard jobs on Singleplayer and turned off the speed limiter/restriction for the truck. Yet it always keeps my truck maxed out at 150 on german highways, 120 on other highways and 90 in cities. Even when I'm not playing ETS MP.

Alright sortof found out why. If you save whilst being on ETS MP, then log off and play Singleplayer, the savefile saves that automatic speed limiter on ETSMP2 and makes it impossible to disable offline, even by ticking on or off the box in settings. I don't know how that is solveable, though...
