where to buy ets2

hi all. i'm going to be getting a windows desktop, and i was wondering where should i buy the game from? steam or the actual scs website? does it really matter. I currently play the game on my mac via steam, but i'm going to switch to playing in windows. since i've already bought the game on steam, can i install it on my windows without paying again?

Also, will i be able to copy my profile folder on my mac to windows so i can continue the game where i left off? thanks in advance.

You will not have to pay for the game again, as you own it on your steam account already. If you can copy the profile folder, I don't know, but I do certainly believe so.

I bought ETS2 off scs webite then found out it would have been slightly cheeper if i got it on steam but even if you do get it on scs site you can still download off of stame just by entering the product key scs provide you with.

thanks for all the replies. thats good that i wont have to buy it again cuz i also bought the going east and the scandanavia packs. i can't wait to play it on windows cuz i wanna play the multiplayer one.
