Rigid trucks with trailers
in many parts of europe (especially sweden and finland) it is common with rigid truck + trailer combination. Are there any plans to make trucks like this for ETS 2?

Picture of what I mean

This is called Tandem, and here is the only (and best) mod available:

The Tandem mod is wonderfull, and I know tandem combinations are also common in europe. Perhaps one day the mod creator will make what I mean, or even better STS will :)
Thanks John. I think I will download this version and give it a try.

Thanks John, that i haven't seen, and i have else tryed a lot of trucks mods
Be sure to download the "Tandem Trailers Only" mod as a companion. It makes all the deliveries tandem trailers, so when you want to play normal ETS2, just disable it :)

Thanks for that adwise but that's not a problem i just change truck, and give it to one of my drivers if i don't want that truck anymore. that way i can have it all and take what ever i want.

I could never reverse park that trailer, it gives me the chills when I think about it lol xD
Well, normaly the wheel's off the tandem-trailer are based on the far end off the trailer. Right up front and directly in the rear. That is my love to park!!! I hope that will come and SCS or modder's will do it. Its way tougher to drive.

It's really not that hard. It is just like driving a regulat truck and trailer, just that the articulation point is a little farther back and the trailer is smaller.

Most of the time (not always) the second trailer is unhooked and manually pushed back to wherever it needs to go. I know, some people who drive them have reported they back them in just like other trailers, but this is how it's usually done in the U.S.

and in europe the driver can actually drive backwards with it and doesn't need to push it

he meant the one from his picture with 2 turning points.

and to the OP. the game can't handle 2 turning points so we will never see this I guess, I still want it since it's a bigger challenge to drive

Let's hope they bring the b-train trailers to that ATS they are currently making, remember that those were present in 18 WoS haulin, modders made rigid trucks and trailers there, but there was the 2 turning points needed.
The picture the OP left doesn't have 2 turning points.
Also, I've never seen a setup like that, in the States. Then again, rigid trucks where I live are mainly used for local deliveries. Such as delivering a TV from Best Buy to my house... or UPS making deliveries from their warehouse to local businesses/residence.

It's probably due to a Commercial Driver License thing.

this setup is used a lot in europe and it has 2 turning points. the front wheels of the trailer can turn and where the trailer is connected to the truck can turn too. it's sort of like a dolly except in this case it isn't a dolly but fixed to the trailer
