ATS Interiors
At first I found it odd ETS2 didnt have any visible shifters. Looking at interior images of ATS again, no shifters. WHERE THE ♥♥♥♥ ARE THE SHIFTERS? Please explain why the ♥♥♥♥ you (SCS) make a driving simulator yet neglect to add in stick shift. I dont mean that fake feeling ♥♥♥♥ in ETS2, hell if someone coded a big rig into Assetto corsa it would certainly make it more of a truck driving sim than this. The physics have gone down hill, mods dont fix it. Hell I dont even hear tire squeel! Its almost an ok game if you factor all the "driving" issues out, and in fact beautiful. The fact is, If Im in a driving simulator, I expect it to feel, sound, look like Im driving a big rig, but adding a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slushbox and penalizing us stickshifters with that ♥♥♥♥ty clutch, it just kills the game. I dont care if truckers are getting lazy and switching to automatics, I want a ♥♥♥♥ing decent stick shift, If I want to drive an automatic Ill drive my grandparents car IRL.
I expect better from SCS

ps in some countries, you have to take your drive test in stick shift.
psps: for anyone stupid enough to try and say that a game can only get so realistic, I will point out driving stickshift in Assetto Corsa is almost indistinguishable from real life

Because if you're looking for the shifter then your eyes aren't on the road.

OK first off they are called shift columns and you never look at them while driving anyway. Also on some trucks like Volvos they can have a sequntial tranmission with a lever that rests on the right side next to the seat.(non British drive). And automatic transmissions are not uncommon even in large trucks.

And trust me even with a full wheel this game is not even close to what driving a real rig feels like so you can drop the whole "if I want an automatic" crap right now.

The only true simulaotrs are the type that some drving schools have and that larger companies have which cost a considerable sum of money. This is a game meant purely for entertainment not to accurately simulate driving a truck.

also what is wrong with the clutch, it does what a clutch is supposed to do, it's not like you have to double clutch like those old american trucks. IF a truck is still manual in europe it has a synchronized gearbox and not one of those old unsynchronized gearboxes. and in ETS 2 those models don't even come as manual anymore so ofcourse you won't find a shift collum in ETS 2. the trucks in which you learn to drive are older trucks before they where manual and for the C+E license you don't even need to drive a manual so those are newer trucks

No one forces you to play with the automatic shift in the game.
But remembering others posts of you on that matters, it seems you are an idiot who does not accept the opinions of others on that.
