PS. You don't need a 750HP engine, 460 or at least 530HP and under is more than enough; 750 is overkill for the typical trailers you're pulling.
scania is a good reliable truck for long distance hauling and is very fuel efficient the engine will always give you max performance no matter what you are hauling :)
Volvo has a cheaper version, look pretty and its faster to upgrade to a decent engine (600kwh).
Having driven all 3 for well over 10,000 km each as a test run, they are all great.
But in all fairness, I really don't like the instrument cluster on the Scania. While it does show the important useful things, it really lacks a lot of things that even Iveco offers, like an indicator to show that the retarder is still activated. So with that, I'd say the FH16 (Volvo) or the New Actros (Mercedes) then. Having spent too much time in flight sims as a teenager, I much prefer the fact that the Volvo sorta gives you most everything you need right away. The Mercedes isn't far behind and is also good in that aspect. Driving a 3 axle chassis, which means my fuel tank capacity takes a hit, I love that both the FH16 and Merc have long legs (specially the Merc), allowing it to go long distances before requiring refueling.
Regardless of which of the three you choose, you'll be happy with them for sure. They're solid pullers that handle nicely and don't need to stop every 800km.
Drive a renault i love my one in mp, hardly ever see them at all, scanias eveywhere.
