Mods not working

I have tried everything that is requiered for a mod to work, and i'm still not getting the message that the game is running mods in the menu and the actual content. And yes, i have enabled the mods, and checked for what version the mods were tesed in, and still not working

All of them. I tried a tandem mod, a snow mod, and a trailer skin. none worked.

Where are you placing these mods? What folder?

u may need 7- zip ( i think thats whats it called but go on youtube and look for Squirrel How to intall ods for euro truck simulator 2 ) (its posted by squirrel Squieeral ( i cant spell im tired)

Really mate? I have had this game for 9 months, and i have already played with mods, i know how to install basic mods, it's not rocket science. I have already placed the .scs file there, and i can activate it ingame. But it's just not working. I'm not expecting a comprehensive answer from you, as you can't spell properly and read what i have done above.

I don't understand why people read the first post, and still give redundant advice, as i have already stated my conditions. Mister Shooter right there, clearly didn't properly read my first post, and still gave me a good for nothing solution, basically telling me to unzip the file that i have already unzipped three hours ago.

Do you have the links for the tandem & snow mods? Also, if it isn't too much of an ask, post your 'game.log' (ETS2 folder in my documents) via www.pastebin.com. If something is amiss it'll likely tell you and us in that log... at the very least it will show if the mods are actually being loaded.

Thanks for the compliment, working on the pastebin log right now. Also abandoned the whole snow mod. Editing with links after i get it all done.

The file that you linked from ets2.lt is corrupted. Look in the comments section and you'll see they have a link to the particular mod on the SCS forums. Download that one from SCS Forums.

All this childish ranting and epeen waving could have been avoided with appropriate information.

Too bad I wasn't around earlier, much of that could of been avoided.

Anyway, I would highly recommend obtaining most mods from the SCS Forums. Flemming's Tandem mod has always worked for me without issue. (I mean, of course, he's a moderator there, it has to work XD)

The Snow mod I'm not sure. And the trailer skin even less sure, but verifying it within the trailer browser in-game can sometimes help if the skin is loaded or not. Otherwise, the game.log file will tell anyone the reason why a mod does not work.

Interestingly enough, I've tried 3 versions of that dd_tandem mod. Each time I get an error at game startup saying that all my DLCs are incompatible with this mod. I never go any further and have waited for the next version of the mod.
Then when I looked at the ETS2 documents folder, there was an extra "bak" folder.
There's something terribly wrong with that mod series.

if your like me and you just come back to euro truck simulator and you use to mod it before. you will find this time that not only do you need going east dlc. but you need scandinavia dlc also to get maps working. i was having lots of trouble getting any mods to work. as you only use to need going east dlc. but after getting the scandinavia dlc also mods are now working as they should more or less. make sure you do get the latest mods you can.. some mods do have fixes for them for ets2 v 1.22. hope this helps.

Hello, seems to me that the new version 1.24 ruin 85% from mods that i used to play on 1.23 and less. It's something that bothers me.. even one workshop mod caused me troubles. Have you got any solution so far?
