Right analog stick not working properly

Hey guys, I've run into a small problem. I had been using my Xbox 360 controller for a while now with no problems. Had it using the default set-up because that was simpler. Left stick was steering, right trigger was gas, left trigger was brake, Y and B were shift up and down, respectively. And the right stick controlled my view, both inside and outside the truck.

Then I tried using my EDTracker in conjunction with OpenTrack so I could more easily look around while driving, but I was having issues with the yaw drift, so I unplugged the head tracker and now I can't control the view inside my truck with the right stick. Outside the truck works fine, but while in the drivers seat, I'm stuck staring forward or whichever way I am currently steering.

I've even tried setting up a new profile and running through the setup wizard again, but it still does not work. Am I missing a setting or something here?

I've restarted the game multiple times, as well as my entire computer and still no luck.

Any help on the subject would be much appreciated! Thanks!

go to your ets2 data directory (that where your profiles are also saved), go to one of the latest bak folders (those stuff http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4038/4wkqyv5h_jpg.htm ) and copy the controlls.sii from the back folder to your normal profil.
If everything went well the control settings should have been restored (at least if you had the same settings at the time the bak profil was created).

Yeah, that doesn't work. I dont have any back-ups.

Hey, Tom. Did you have any luck with this?
I've been trying opentrack for a week now and I feel that, at least for me, it's not for every single playtime. Wanted to play only with my controller again, but the right analog stick does not work in the interior camera mode.
I've tried uninstalling the game completely with every single config file and profile deleted - nothing. I even installed American Truck Simulator - the same thing right from the start.
So, did you have any luck?

Ya know, I think when I was having this issue with ETS2, I had to go into one of the control.sii files and delete all references to any kind of head tracking system. But I recently had the same problem when I got ATS. During initial setup, it saw the head tracker and would not let me use my mouse to look around while on the interior view. This was a little different as I am now using a G27 wheel instead of the xbox controller. So, to correct it, I went into the config.cfg found in Documents>American Truck Sim folder, and there was a line that read uset g_trackir "1". I changed that 1 to a 0 and BAM, mouse worked again. It may be a similar fix for the xbox controller as well.

It worked. I was looking for a line like that in the controls.sii files, and somehow did not even think about looking into the config file. Perfect. Now I can play with and without head tracking when I want to.
