Thrustmaster T300RS was working, now not. On Mac

I had been happily using my Thrustmaster T300RS with ETS2 for a while, until very recently.

Despite trying to go through the input wizards again, turn off, turn on again, unplug, stand on one leg, throw salt over my left shoulder etc. The game refuses to recognise key functions, like steering axis and pedal input etc.

Was tempted to uninstall and reinstall, but not sure how to do this, and still retain my saved progress.

Anyone had similar experience?

You don't need to do anything to retain your saved progress, installation/uninstallation doesn't have anything to do with your saves. However - If you want to back up your profile/saves just in case it's located as follows (on a Win7 machine):

<drive>:/Users/<userID>/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/

Your configuration & profile are in that subdirectory... Before you try a full uninstall/install cycle it might pay to perhaps delete the

config.cfg

&

controls.sii

files you'll find there and in the save(s) subdirectory (located inside the profile subdir) and try a full re-setup with your current install.
