so ive notcied that while driving on the highway, the road signs wont tell u weither ur heading south,noth,east or west. is that just how it is in uk or something to look forward too in american truck simulator?

That's why you have a GPS in your truck, mate. It's there to help make sure you get your cargo delivered to the right place.

i mean thats true but what if u want to drive someplace without a trailer,or delivery. then u will have to use road signs cause u cant set a destination on the gps to a city.

mmm well as far as ive seen most signs irl dont either unless its like a popular city right? but i think thats wht mile markers are for

clearly never driven on a freeway or interstate? distance to the next exit is marked on every sign.

Not sure about Europe, but here in the States the signs does have the distance on them.

o lol nah im a noob drive but the only distance markers ive seen in ets2 was distance to the next exit but thats bout it, still wish u could either set the gps to a city u want to explore without having a job for it, and maybe knowing wihich direction ur traveling,noth sout,etc..

I think its the third screen on the GPS is set up like a map, North to the top, south bottom, west and east, left and right, Hope this helps a little. Plus I agree 100% about being able to set your own GPS point.

hmm thx im going to try that also does the third screen on the GPS rotate when u turn cause if so then you might lose ur scence of direction.

only real hope is a dashboard compass mod of some sort, but honestly the roads aren't complex enough to get lost taking a wrong turn anyway.

no, the GPS 3rd screen map doesnt rotate.

yea just tested the 3rd screen, meh still would like to drive using road signs as well as gps
make it feel more realistic :D

it's not that hard to mentally plot a course a few turns ahead of where you are anyway, challenged myself to drive without the route adviser a few times and found i want to check the map about 5-6 turns ahead.

the other post.... that differs from vehicle to vehicle IRL anyway, just hit Q or E again to turn off the blinker when it glitches is what i do, not really a problem and super simple to solve when it happens.
