How to upload my picture?

So I caved in and bought ETS2 for the sale, and was wondering how to upload my own picture instead of some random person I can select from? Is it possible to do this via modding or in-game?

The World of Trucks thing does have a way you can upload screens from the game once you take them (usually F9). However, it is limited to only 6 images in the gallery + your driving truck, whichever you upload for that. You do need an account for that purpose.

Steam has its own uploading service which you can use either the Steam Overlay, or while looking at the game in your Library, you'll want to click on "VIEW SCREENSHOT LIBRARY" and you can upload images to Steam servers.

At which point, then its possible to do this:

You can do it via a mod.
But you need to have -force_mods included in Launch Options, otherwise you'll only see your new 'driver' picture after you select a profile. You can do the same mod for your company logo too.

Well I do think it's good if we can use a custom driver profile picture that's stored locally.
I pretty much assumed that would have been the case when I bought the game.

It do.
It didn't when the Mod Manager was first released, but does now.

As mentioned above, you can do this if you make a WoT account. This also has the added benefit that it gives you a free code to the metallic paints DLC, and also lets you customize your registration plates.

Alright thanks for the help guys :). I should have worded the subject better as yea I meant upload my picture to use as the in-game avatar. To bad it's not just in the game already you would think they would have the option to just browse your HDD for a picture a certain size that fits the avatar. Considering the images look to be of other real people(why would I want to look like joe dirt when I could just be me lol).

Up until recently, the pictures used for hired drivers were essentially sketched images in B&W.
Then, v1.19 (was it?) saw SCS implement photographs taken of the beta testers of the game. These photographs are the driver's avatars now. Squirrel is in there somewhere.

Beta testers, maybe a couple youtubers, and SCS staff are the people in those images now.

Ah interesting makes sense then. I just registered the game at WoT and uploaded mine so good to go now :). No need to mod, and glad for that. Don't get me wrong I love mods, but on a first play-thru on any game I like to play vanilla and mods later if I like it enough extends the gameplay :).
