Pedals not working
I am not very skilled with how to use your wheel and pedals, that's why I am here.

A few weeks ago I bought a wheel, because it was on sale and I wanted to try it out, the wheel I bought was an Hama racing wheel thunder v5. When I finally got home and connected it all up, everything worked fine, but my pedals were not. I have looked online, but I haven't found anything of much use.

Hopefully someone out there knows what to do.

Sorry can't help you there. Have you been to the official forum? They have Sub-forum specificaly for Wheels an other controllers. There a friendly bunch and you may get the help you need there.

http://forum.scssoft.com
how exactly dont they work? did you try setting them up as secondary keybinds (keyboard settings) or acceleration/ break axis? make sure in the controller settings on top, in that drop-down menue, it´s on "steering wheel", not game pad or something

also go to you windows control panel, open "devices and printers", look for "wheel" or such things... rightclick it, "controller settings" (should be the first thing on top), choose your wheel, chose properties... a small window with some boxes and lines opens, thats the calibration... move your wheel, you´ll see that a cross moves... try stepping on your pedals, see if anything happens... if yes, save it just as it is...

my wheel sometimes wasnt recognized as well, until i opened and closed that calibration...

let me know if or if not it works, and give all info on what exactly you are doing and tried to do so far...

I actually found out what to do. First I thought that my weren't installed or something, but then I went ahead and looked into the user manual, there I tried out several things, until I found out that the pedals had to be turned on to something specific before you could use them.

Anyways, thank you all for your help.

I just looked into the manual. It should help, it helped me.
I had the same problem but i found out how to fix it :
1. Press and hold Select and start button
2. The red light shoud become green or yellow
3. While its on other color press left arrow or the steering wheel

See, Parok gave us a solution. Autus was looking for a solution and found it on his own, but was unwilling to help others by explaining how he solved it. Thanks Parok for your unselfish helpful sharing. You will be allowed to enter my fortress when the world falls apart and chaos rains.

If I had remembered better how I fixed it. I would've gladly shared it.

I'm having the same problem I think. I tried the solution that Parok gave but that does not help. The problem is that the pedals double as shifters and the paddle shifters double as brake and acceleration.
When I brake, I downshift and when I downshift I brake and when I accelerate I upshift and when I upshaft I accelerate.
Throttle and brake are only mapped to UP and DOWN. I went through the Input Wizard a few times but this behaviour always returns.

My pedals will not work, if i try to assign them it is like they are not connected. I tried Parok's solution but it did not work...
