I have countered this wiht putting "interior camera horizon locking factor" all the way to the right, so while the truck does tilt, the camera does not, making it far smoother to drive...atleast for me. Psyhical camera movement seems to be adjusting how far it goes front or back when you break or accelerate.
Have no issue at all both games
Well Gentlemen..
Now I am a bit confused here since we are talking of both "Longitudinal- and Lateral instability" at the same time.. Maybe my fault too who started this and included the problem with the truck constantly weering off from side to side on the road (Longitudinal instability), but that is another problem I guess..
The primary problem is "Lateral instability" and the tendency for the cabin to make a "Barrel roll" ,a nice slow roll in flying compared with a "Snap roll", but in a truck is a nightmare!
You give me advice to either slide it all the way to the left...or to the right!?
I am glad I am not your test pilot trying to go past the sound barrier in UK 1949, where the first try made the plane extremely nose-heavy,uncontrollable and it disintegrated in the air at Mach .98. The next guy trying thought that maybe if he reversed the controls at that point, giving dive rudder instead of climb in the same situation.. and it worked..Bang, Mach 1.0 !!
Sorry joking but I am sure you get my drift.. So now, without the risk of my Scania disintegrating at 80 km/h, I will now try BOTH of your recommended ways of solving this problem..Taking off now..
Thank's and 'Over and out'
p.s Will report back if I survive!
Location: Enroute Tallin-Warzaw
Weather conditions: Heavy rain
Cruise speed: 50-80 km/h
Settings: "Physical camera movement factor = 0 (Left) and "Interior camera horizon locking factor = 0 (Left)
Results: Problem solved and I am very 'appy now!
Comment: Maybe I could have unchecked the first button, "Physical camera movement" instead but I left it checked on (not sure if it disables something else).

So now, we can focus on the second problem, ”Longitudinal instability”.
Thank’s all for your support!
In controls menu:
Steering sensitivity= 35%
Steering non-linearity =50% (not sure about this one's role though)

P.s Now, after driving a few more hours, I would say steering stability is 100% !! As good as it can be without beeing unrealistic, I think
I'd say give them a little time to go through all the reactions / comments and get to tweeking it a bit before you quit playing.
