Coach Simulator

What happened to Coach Simulator? I remember maybe 5 years ago watching a behind the scenes video at SCS where they showed the different teams, one working on ETS2, another on ATS, plus another team working on Coach Simulator. A bus simulator game. It's been ages now so I'm guessing they scrapped it.

Is that what all those weird empty lots are for? Lots of towns have at least one parking lot with stalls, or I guess it would be a bus interchange. They would re-use the map for their bus game? Interesting if so.

It either got scrapped or put aside for the future.

Yes, and some have pretty neat designs with regional differences, and most can be driven on. As far as I can tell, it's authentic (as usual 😊 )

Considering even newer maps come with explorable bus stops and terminals, at best we can imagine it's still under development or at most put on hold, but not scrapped.
