Uh... replace the original mod with the new one? Its not that hard.

Usually, overwriting the older mod with the newer one work, if they have the same name.

If they have not, it's another story. Sometimes, you need to sell what the mod add, the part(s) or the truck(s). If it's trailer(s), you need to deliver or cancel. You may even need to load your save, deactivate the mod, save, quit, update the mod, load your save, activate the mod and save again.

If you made mods yourself....look into the modding guides for the patches what has changed and change that yourself....... http://eurotrucksimulator2.com/mod_tools.php

You can search the new version at http://ets2downloads.com/
Download it, deactive the old one and enable the new one.

I cant find the new version of the scania 111s! That is the problem.

That means the author has stopped developing it.

It really depends on how old the mod is. If it's fairly new and just needs updating then you just need to compare it's def files with default ones to check for internal changes or file name changes.

The model itself should be fine. Just a matter of figuring out which def files are the ones stopping it working properly.

Always save your game first. I make a list of all the mods I'm using that I like, then weed out the ones I don't use and delete them.
Then I'll go and download all the new maps, trailer, traffic and weather mods, chuck them in my mod folder, start game go to profiles and replace old with new and see if my trucks are still working ok. Then I delete all the old mods from the mods folder.

BTW if you use lots of map mods take note of the mod order / priority.

Okay it is a scania 111s from ets2 1.3... I did manage to get it! But if in try to change the chassis the game crashes... soooo what now?

Damn, 1.3 is an ancient version of ETS2. Unless someone develops a new mod for it or something, don't get your hopes up. Best to use something else, or downgrade your version using the temporary beta for 1.3 if you *really* want to go that far back, if its even available.

To do that, I'm sure you know how to use Google.
