Skipping Music Files

So, why exactly do some of my music files skip in the playlist?

The reason I prefer the in-game player is because it lets me control the volume while I drive. I'm using a steering wheel and fullscreen. It's annoying having to use the mouse to change the volume (not to mention the annoying minimising) every time.

All my files are 44.1hz and mp3. Literally 8 of 10 files are skipping.

Any ideas?

UPDATE: You can fix this by changing the file to an OGG file using Audacity

From what I've heard, the id3 tags might be too long.

I have no idea to be honest. But I just got them to work by changing the files to .OGG using Audacity!
