Why can't you go in front of the parking spot?? In a real scenario you have room for that. If it at least was marked how far forward you can go it wouldn't look like a bug that is so obvious that you wonder if it was even tested at all

Sorry, but I don't really understand what is your problem?
Perhaps a screenshot or a video can better illustrate your problem?
I have just now completed that exercise myself, so I therefore know that it can be done.

In real life you can also come across very difficult parking conditions similar to this, and here in the game there are lots of help markings, which probably wouldn't be there irl.

I just literally ran into this problem too, i pulled through the final stop place and failed it as well b/c i needed to straighten out to get in the spot. There are no cones/barriers or any other indication to say you can't go through it.

You must place the complete vehicle inside the green frame.
Use the front mirror to see where the green frame ends... You must not drive past the end of the frame!

A little tip: make sure you get far enough forward before you turn into the parking space, then there is a good chance that you, like me, can get into the spot on the first try, without having to make any further manoeuvres. :)

You can actually drive a little past the yellow lines and drive back, don't know how far, but there is some leeway.

Isn't it fun failing on the very last part of the test and then having to redo the entire thing all over again?
Don't feel bad. I did the same thing and I drive trucks for a living. I was in the spot just fine but not to my own standards so i just pulled forward to even things out. Nope can't have that.

It's obvious the devs didn't consult a single driver on anything in these tests since the real challenge comes from not the act of parking, but finding parking at all.

i do it on the first 2 day´s and it is pretty simple.

Part 2 is annoying, failed it at the very last step. So i come in and says "park teh way you want", ok wonderful, i see exit with free road, sure im gonna go there and turn around to back up into the zone again. NOPE it failed me for going offcourse. If you gonna do that then block the exit and dont say park however you want. Its a freaking trap to fail you after the whole annoying part 2..

I found Exam 1 more punishing than Exam 2 to be honest, failed so many times for really nothing, including that final parking in which I too went that bit too forward. And about the "park as you want it" from Exam 2, I did exactly the same thing but fearing of a trap I was then lucky enough to stop in time then reverse ^^'

Or paint some lines at the exit, instructing not to cross it yet, then allow it afterwards.
