Can't assign LMB to anything

Came back to ETS2 after a few months, with a new PC.

I remember when I used to play tons of ETS2 I had LMB and RMB assigned to left and right turn indicator respectively, now after all of the fancy UI updates and whatnot, can't assign LMB to anything. This messes up the incredible system I had built up over the years.

Is this a bug or is there a reason for this?

там где повороти руля не трогай ничего .а просто поставь левий поворотник и правий и и руль будет на мишке я так зделал и норма.

That specific bind has been disabled from within the game. It is still possible to manually edit the controls.sii file to assign the LMB.

I don't have this issue for some reason. my MB's are assigned to indicators. I checked the other day and I can still reassign them.
