Unable to drive in Iberia
Since the day i bought the Ibera DLC ive had a lot of lag in and around cities, i have no problem at all anywhere else, only in Spain. I havent been playing for a while and ive just recently come back to the game, i have put in a few hours around the map and not had a single problem, however when driving into Spain, my game simply crashes shorlty after, if i quick travel to my garage in Madrid i can get the nearest roundabout before the game crashes. It happens on any profile, modded or not. Ive tried turning down graphics and other settings settings, but still absolutely nothing changes. Is anyone else having problem with the Iberia DLC, or does anybody know what else i can try?

EDIT: Upon creating a new profile to try and drive in Spain on that profile, the game crashes shortly after i select which city i want to start in, i couldnt get to the actual gameplay

Go to "C:\Users\*your username*\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" after a crash.
Open "game.log.txt" after the crash, (NOT game.crash.txt) in Notepad or other text editor.
Copy it all and then post it to pastebin.com (split in two parts if too big).
Post the link to that page on here.
If pastebin is not available in your country you can use http://rentry.co and post that page link here.

You could try and verify your game files first: You can do this by doing a right-click on the game in your Steam Library and going to "Properties". There you go to "Local files" and there should be the option to verify your files.
Also update your graphics drivers ONLY from the manufacturers website, and do a fresh install.

This:

<ERROR> The was an error while inflating (<SYSFS>../../base.scs)

...means you need to verify the game cache. Main game file is corrupted. ;)

There is 11 active mods, that are up to date on that first profile, 99% of the mods arent active on that profile, and absaloutly none are active on the other profile, they're all disabled
GamingPredator Jun 16, 2021 @ 5:33am
Ive removed all the mods, verified the game files and reinstalled just the mods i currently use, i still get a lot of lag in cities in Spain, but i dont get any lag whatsoever anywhere else in the game.
mojo_musica Jun 16, 2021 @ 5:50am
Try starting a new, never modded, vanilla profile, with reduced graphics settings to test whether that stops the lag. Make sure that your GFX card is running fully updated drivers, downloaded from the manufacturers website. It is likely not the game, it will be your system and settings causing lagging, the GFX card you have is at the lower end of what is able to run the game.
I know that people have reported slowing in Iberia, but they tend to do that for every DLC map released for ETS2 or ATS, as the maps get more detailed and the GFX engine is improved in the game.
Turn SSAO off and play around with scaling and anti-aliasing settings for a start. You could also try using v-sync or FPS capping. Do you have the Steam fps counter turned on in the game to keep an eye on the fps dropping?
Mods won't make fps any better, they can cause lots of unintended problems, unrelated to their function, so testing without any may help.
