no external contract jobs to Greece

Spent several hours wasting my time yesterday looking for jobs via external contracts to Greece. There was not one city anywhere offering jobs to Greece. I thought this event was supposed to be live?
There are plenty of jobs to Greece via the freight market, which makes this even more annoying. I am not running any map mods. Only mods I am running are those which have been updated for 1.53. Further more, I disabled them all, when i could not find an external job to Greece and still have the same issue, no city has an external contract job to Greece. Devs what is wrong with this dlc, never had such problems with any other map expansion dlc's from you before?

No, no mods at all. My theory is that Christmas event is blocking contracts for Greece and it's not adjusted good enough. I just had one today from Sophia to Kamala. I remember 100% that Greece External jobs did appear more likely before Event. Now it's miracle that at least one will appear.

I have everything. Ranging from short to long contracts. On the latest game version as well.

It seems I have fixed my own problem. The pop up appeared again for the Greece DLC, no matter what I did no external jobs would appear for the dlc. I went back into options, my world of trucks was connected, but I noticed a button with the word online in the options. The reason for not getting any driving jobs to Greece, was because the DLC was not connected to my account, which is odd, because every time i bought expansion it would automatically register.

i insure the event works also check like neko did the online from in game external contracts are there 100% did completed greece and even christmas events so relax just check in game online option be sure to be connected fully :)

I managed to fix the issue with external jobs not appearing for the Greece event in Euro Truck Simulator 2. The solution was purchasing two additional DLCs: Road to the Black Sea and West Balkans.

It seems that these DLCs were required to unlock jobs leading to or from Greece, even though I initially thought they weren’t necessary. After adding them to my account, the external jobs appeared without any further issues.

If anyone else is facing the same problem, check if you need these DLCs to access the required routes. I hope this helps! 😊

I have all the dlc maps but still have problems

I also have every single DLC. In that case I will patiently wait til Christmas Event will be over. Thankfully it ends quicker than Greece one. I don't know how WoT External Contracts mechanic work but I will see if I'm right that Christmas Contracts are overwrighting those to Greece from neighbour countries since most of them are short distanced. I am 100% sure that contracts were working good until this point.

I think you could be partially right about the christmas event blocking the greece event. Infact I believe they are both affecting each other. I cannot find a Greece job in external contracts, but strangely I can only find 3 of the 5 christmas depot jobs. However if i look for a job leaving the christmas zone thing, there are actual jobs to Greece, but they don't seem to count! This is without any mods, not a single one. This is a SCS problem, and I don't think they cared whether it worked or not, they obviously never bothered to test both events together or they would have been able to see this strange mess they have made. why they had to have 2 events at the same time in ets 2...i don't know.

Xmas jobs from Wonderland going to Greece don't meet the 200km minimum distance requirement for the Greece Event. And remember, that is 200km of driving distance; ferry distances do not apply.

And it should not be much of a surprise that Event jobs, for either Event, are scarce within the new DLC area; everyone and their brother are driving around Greece working on both Events and the jobs are "first-come, first-served". ;)

You can drive or fast travel to these cities and take a WoT job *from* that city.

The Cruising event rules allow deliveries both TO or FROM a city for that city to count. As long as the job is 200+ km driven distance as offered, of course.

I have never had this happen in all the years I have been playing this game, with all the dlc events. I find it incredibly strange that this problem has only occurred since the Greece DLC was launched. I could fast travel everywhere as usual, but it never seemed to matter because I still couldn't get external jobs for the missing places in Greece. The Christmas event was fine until, I found that at least for me 2 missing jobs to the Christmas event so I could complete then job. It can't be a coincidence that both events are causing problems with each other, or it's an incredibly bad coincidence which I can't believe is the case. The Christmas event seems to prevent the Greece event from occurring, but at the same time I have checked all over the map in quick travel for the two missing locations in the Christmas event, they simply did not exist for me. I don't know what SCS are playing at, but if this is the sign of things to come, I won't bother with any more DLC, it's really poor on the developers part. They need to look at this problem and fix it tomorrow or on Monday before the new New Year, I cannot complete either event at all.

Completed the Greece event yesterday without any issues. Currently doing the Christmas event and am halfway done with it.

I fast traveled 39 times to finally find a contract to Kavala. The problems started when the Christmas event went live indeed.

I kind of solved the Christmas issue now, by playing ATS, was able to find the missing delivery locations instantly with jobs to go there. I am going to stay on ATS until I have completed the Christmas event and then just wait it out until this event ends and continue with the Greece event. I just find it an huge inconvenience, neither event should interfere with each other the way it is doing.

I am also having this issue. No mods, the expansion is installed and connected to WoT. If I travel to a city in Greece, I can get a job from there to somewhere else, but no city outside of Greece out of the 20+ that I've tried has offered a job to Greece.

This is pretty frustrating considering I have zero interest in TW: the Christmas event. We should be able to filter events.
