WOT events question

During events (crusing greece for example) jobs must be a minimum distance, my question is does boat travel count or is it only driving on land?

Boat Travel does not count, I tried it and it only takes the land miles to count.

Yeah, I found this out the hard way. Unfortunately Greece has more ferry destinations than any other country.

If you click on a job offered, it will show the ground mileage and the ferry mileage as well as the total mileage of the trip. It is always the road mileage that counts and only the route offered, if you deliberately drive further to increase the mileage of a job which is slightly too short, it will not count.

I just had some jobs not counted that were just slightly over 200km (like 200-250) on land. It really has me pissed rn as I probably won't make the event because of that anymore... they should just make the DRIVEN km count.

Edit: 40min before the event concludes, I did it! YAAAAAAY!

Only the distance offered counts. Not the distance you make by driving around the world. Otherwise any minimum distance requirement is pretty pointless.

well im stuck i cant do it as iv been to every city but no luck and no jobs for me to do it to and from greece and iv done it at the end of December and start of January but no jobs going there. for some reason as other people have done the wot greece event but i thought how did they do it thay done it at the end of december and start of january they finished it.

I just wish they can extend date for more time……I just bought the Greece DLC 4 days ago, it's too hard to finish the event

yes your right there i wish they did extend the date aswell cos it is hard to do the jobs when you only have 2 days to complete it.

yes your right there i wish they did extend the date aswell cos it is hard to do the jobs when you only have 2 days to complete it.

The end was announced way in advance. So you have more than enough time.

The event duration was 2 month. Plenty of time, even if you don't buy the DLC on realease date. If you buy it just a few days before the event ends, you can't complain that there is not enough time.
If they would wait for everyone to finish the event, it willl never end.

It's too late now, but for future reference, map dlc release events, lke the Greece event can often be done in half the drives of the number of cities by teleporting, for example Greece has 15 cities, so the first drive you do is to the 1st one, then teleport to another city and do a drive from there to a city you haven't visited, do that 7 times in total and Greece can be done with 8 drives.
