No ultimate edition or something?
I've watched Euro truck sim for a while the bundles always confuse me, I swear i swore the game had 3 different bundles during the Autumn sale? but now there's only 1 bundle and that is the essentials bundle.

Is there no single ultimate edition bundle or something? with everything in one package?

No editions. But, there are bundles. Look around in the DLC store page.

There never will be an ultimate edition, not while they can get people buying those separate bundles and individual dlc's. Also there is the very real likelihood of them continuing on from the Russian DLC whenever that arrives, into Asia, because it makes no financial sense not to from their perspective. Ultimate editions of games generally occur at the end of a game's life cycle. Think of this game like the sims, to the developers or publisher, it makes no sense to make 1 bundle that has everything. If you want to play ETS or ATS, your going to want the dlc for the map, and usually external mod maps requires the vast majority of the dlc's because of the assets they contain etc.

Usually they list every thing on the store page, I find it a bit confusing to see 1 bundle on store page, but I find other bundles else where? i don't know how, its having a sale now and it lists different bundles not listed at the store.

What's the difference between American truck sim and this? does ATS only cover American areas and vice versa? this game keeps coming up on sale i really should pick it up one day but i'm usually not interested when its on sale.

I'll likely get the other DLCS also, but idk what to get first, usually just buy the version that gives everything. but not in this case.

The short is, ETS2 is based on the European stuff, while ATS is based on the Americas stuff. The games are identical aside from geolocation and theme.

The only permanent "bundle" that includes the game itself, is the essentials, which is enough to get you started I guess.

Here are some others:
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/35840/Balkans_Bundle/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/35843/Baltic_Bundle/
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/35839/Mediterranean_Bundle/

The ETS2 store page will only show bundles that include itself. It does not include DLC that are bundled with only DLC.

You do have to click on of the DLCs, and hope it was part of a bundle. Example: Special Transport part of the cargo bundle.

Some bundles include the base game and will show on the base game store page but others only include DLCs and will only appear on the store page of relevant DLCs.

Ah okay thank you, if and when ever decide to get ETS2 the essentials will last me for a while.

Weird system, this does not seem to be the case for other games,

Ah okay I only ever use steam to buy stuff, so I'll likely miss the other ones.
