1.53 has released! (Please read!!)

First off: Please be aware that your mods might no longer be compatibe and cause crashes. If you experience issues on a modded profile, please try to reproduce them on a vanilla profile (no mods EVER in it). If you can not reproduce these issues there, then it is 100% a mod issue. How to deal with that in the comments.

As for how to deal with mod issues currently, you have the following options:

#1: Play on a vanilla profile until all of your mods are updated.
#2: Downgrade to 1.52 until all your mods are updated.
#3: Downgrade to 1.52, sell all your modded parts, deactivate your mods and then upgrade back to 1.53. Wait for your mods to be updated.

You cant Downgrade to 1.52... In the beat Menu is no Option for 1.52 incompatible mods...that is sad.

Try this first before stating my games broken

If you have mods installed then they maybe your problem below is what i do every time there is an update or i have problem's with stuttering freezing or even crashing and problems with texture and graphics

There is no easy way to work through making sure all mods are working

First make sure the update is complete by verification of your files and then simple run the program in vanilla first

simply follow the steps below if unsure


I always run a complete vanilla version which has never had any mods at all every time that a update is done. Then i do a quick job to test

Then i have a second profile where i test each mod for compatibility where i can remove any that are not updated yet

Just add one mod at a time running a quick job for each one then leaving all mods that don't cause a crash activated do the same again always make sure that you do a quick job

Then i have a third profile which is my main game profile which is always working as the first two steps make sure everything is fine.

Hopefully this might help you to sort out any problems in the future

When is the option to rollback to 1.52 coming?!!??

I appreciate all the vanilla only players will pipe up with the 'it's your choice to use mods blah blah' but since there will never will be a UK update, then Promods is the only option for players like myself. So rollback and wait for that to be updated, as always.
Anyhoo, 1.52 rollback option pls.....hurry hurry, I've got a mileage competion to win within our VTC.

Yes we know Mr Wolf but you cam't expect nobody to mention it, plus helps frustrated players blow off steam. Maybe consider starting a 'Moan about the update here' thread, so SCS can mute and ignore it. It's lonely in the mothers basement ya know :)

Not a question a gamer like myself would usually ask but 3 in as many months is a bit much. Quarterly massive updates FTW
