Anyhoo, they've been working on it for a while now, maybe by the end of 2025 is my best guess.
And Nordic Horizons was announced in January, so it'll be somewhat longer than 15 months when it releases.
SCS announces a new map DLC when they decide it is ready for announcement and releases it when it is ready for release. a lot can happen in-between, both expected and not-so-expected.
Enjoy Greece DLC in a couple of weeks and look forward to nordic Horizons whenever that DLC is released.

The same can probably be said about ETS2 and other games. An endless work in progress.
ETS2 is a finished product that just gets better over time.
But that term "when it's done" became a classic and fits on any question about when something will be released if there is no official statement so far.
Madkine should have the most reliable information here, so Nov/Dec 2025 it will be most likely.
I choose to disagree a bit on this one. ETS2 is not done and hopefully never will be. But that depends on how you look at it. This is not said in a negative way. It's just an expression of what you stated. That it improves constantly and hopefully will do for a long time to come.
When something is done - that's it. No more room for improvement or new features. ETS2 and ATS holds so much potential especially when it comes to gameplay. So many great features and advanced game play awaits - if SCS chooses to imbrace the possibilities. Only time will tell - but from my point of view - SCS have plenty of things to work on and add to the games. If they choose so.
SCS might at some point choose an end of line strategy but that's all in a distant future - hopefully.
So no negative vibes here - just stating that nothing is really done before it's really done. But that's all on SCS's part to decide. :-)
unless they do the heart of Russia first or make of for Ireland and Northern Ireland
Heart of Russia has been done for some time now. You can probably figure out why it hasn’t been released. ;-)
I agree, but hello, look at what I said before :-)
But you only guessed ... ;)
Very well, of course.
@J8SUPRME:
Of course ETS2 is not done, but it is no vaporware.
It's a game you can play. That's why you can't compare it to that Duke Nukem Forever thing.
The same applies for the DLCs (the topic here). They usually get released on a regular schedule.
I know what you mean. Just being really annoying on words. ;-)
Duke Nukem was a great game - alongside Wolfenstein. Epic at the time. :-)
