PS4コントローラーを使用して自分好みのコンフィグで操作をしたい

現在バージョン1.52.0.6sでプレイしているのですが、PS4コントローラーでプレイするときに使用していたキーコンフィグが使用できず、何度コントローラー設定をしてもETS公式推奨のコンフィグに変更されてしまい快適にプレイすることができなくなってしまいました。
この解決方法はあるのでしょうか？

以前からキーコンフィグが勝手に推奨設定に変更される事はありましたが、その都度Steamのコントローラー設定でカスタム設定に変更していました。
しかしアップデート後初めて起動すると全く自分の知らないキーコンフィグになっていました。
しかもETS2のゲーム内設定から飛べるコントローラー設定では推奨設定以外に設定ができず、Steamからコントローラー設定を変更してもゲームを起動すると勝手に推奨設定に変更されるようになってしまいました。
その上以前まで使用していたカスタム設定はコントローラー設定から消失・・・
また、このコントローラー設定ではL1ボタンの設定はできるのにR1ボタンの設定はできない（というかそもそも設定項目がどこにもない）という状態になっています。

個人の一番プレイしやすいカスタム設定でゲームをプレイするための設定方法を教えて下さい。
