Logitech G25 Problem

Hi. can anybody HELP please. up to today I have been using my G25 Wheel and pedals system pretty well except wheel keeps shooting to left or right.
Checked YouTube for help, downloaded Logitech Software. did all the calibration checks etc and all seemed OK until, I went into EuroTruck Sim 2. Options. Controller G25 + Keyboard showing OK. I checked steering movement either way, this was OK. Accelerator movement OK, Clutch Movement OK but, Brake (couldn't adjust movement to check) stuck ON permanently showing BAR over to far right, can't get this off so as to check brake works.
In game, truck is reversing all the time due to this brake fault in options menu. Would be grateful for any help in rectifying this problem. Tried uninstalling software etc and even removing Wheel from Controllers etc in Control Panel. Still after plugging wheel into USB, was recognised and in game options was still same. Can you invert the brake pedal in settings ?

hi i am not really sure of this is the same as the g27 in the logitech profiler settings have you checked to see if the pedals are set as either combined pedals if so uncheck that box or maybe you could add a bit of deadzone to the brake and accelerator pedals in the game controllers setting as i use to have a sticky accelerator and brake pedals that use to stick on a bit on my g27 and untill i added quite a bit of deadzone in the game settings it corrected my issue.

These are my current values for my deadzone that i use which you can either copy or edit in your profile folder in My Documents folder under controls.sii

config_lines[19]: "constant c_throt_dz 0.650000"
config_lines[20]: "constant c_brake_dz 0.500000"

Thanks for your kind assistance. I am unable to see a combined pedals check box in the profiler. I have however tried the deadzone with no joy. my main problem is getting this brake pedal showing full (to the right) in the game options to be back to normal with NO coloured bar showing. No matter what i do even when all looks ok, going into ETS2 and going to drive, as soon as the game loads to my recent job, my truck is reversing all the time, I just can't get it to work right (not showing full coloured bar in options/brake section). I have now found my original software disc for the G25, i may try that as the software I used WAS from Logitechs Website and could be the problem. I may just try plugging G25 in and seeing if PC/ETS2 recognises it. Thanks

It sounds like the gear shift is still set to the keyboard.
You should set up the transmission type as manual if using the G25 shifter or real automatic if using the paddles

Thanks. Will Check when possible, i am re-installing Steam at present and it looks like it could be a couple of days before I get to check properly. Grateful for you help.

Yes, it is there. Years since I had a G25 but I remember "Report Combined Pedals" or something similar in the profiler. Did you follow SecretOne's suggestion regarding inverting the brake pedal in the settings menu of the game?

Definitely start setting up as Real automatic, it is by far the least complicated to get right. Once things work well, then try manual if you would like. Never ever use Simple automatic.

Thanks so much. Must have missed Combined Pedals section, have deleted software as i have now found original software disc but, as stated i am going to try eventually just plugging G25 in and seeing if Windows/ETS2 recognise it? Due to all this messing about now, my fault initially messing with controls for wheel. I have done a system restore so in the process (unfortunately) of putting all back on including re-install of Steam and games. i must admit, been playing ETS2 and ATS for a long time and being a senior citizen, all this with settings etc starts to get a bit frustrating. I have now just downloaded and having (I Think) to re-install ProMods Europe, Middle East and (Canada (for ATS)). all in all these are brilliant games and cheap. I must admit, I have NEVER been able to work out how to set up my Gear shift within the settings of the Truck Sims so, I admit I have always used Simple automatic without any problems, just not as realistic. I do give credit to all you guys for your kind help and assistance knowing I can ask for help like this and getting great responses is really Brill. Thanks Guys (All of You).

I use Logitech Profiler 5.10.127 with my G25 and it has never given me any trouble unlike the newer version apparently It is no longer supported by Logitech but is used by a lot of racers. Compatible with a lot of racing/driving games. You can set up individual profiles for each game (FFB, Centering etc)

Thanks for you reply, will look into it if I have no joy with the setup. have done a system restore from an earlier date and hope it may take the problem off? Just now starting to load ATS to see if at first the game recognises my wheel again before opting for the software again. As I stated, I have found my original software disc and hope it works with Windows 10 which I replaced Windows 7 Ultimate for?
