Access Mod Dealer not visible on Dealers Map
Hello Everyone,

I am trying to use a couple of mods on the game, they've been added and activated for my profile however, to use them I need to purchase them from the Mod Dealer but I do not see any Access Mod Dealer button on the Truck Dealers Map.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

that's wrong, the mod has to be in the main mod folder, otherwise it will show up on the mod manager, but not in game.

Move "mymod.scs" to your main mod folder

are you 100% sure that they are correctly installed and activated in the mod manager?

Not wanting to sound sarcastic or patronising but this sounds like something is in the wrong place or has not been activated.

Yes, As far as I can tell, they're active (status is green) for my profile.

Also, is it that the Access Mod Dealer button is only visible when an active compatible mod is detected by the game or is it always shown?

I am just trying to understand, if this is a mod-related issue or my game somehow stopped displaying that option altogether.

Side-note, I am using this on a very old profile that I copied over in the Documents folder, if that makes any difference.

Ive never used truck mods but i have came to beleive that modded trucks are sold at existing truck dealers, but I might got that wrong.

to make sure that the mod truck is activated within your game, in the main menu, go to the vehicle browser, just look for the truck, if it does not appear, it is activated incorrectly, try to leave it at top priority

Yeah, I cannot see it in the Vehicle Browser, so that essentially means something is wrong with the mod, right?

Now, that is some progress I've had since I installed the mod. I wonder what could be wrong, I think I'll try a few others and see if it works.

Thanks for the help!

Any chance it's in a folder inside the mod folder, for example, is it a .zip or .scs inside a folder after the mod folder... (dunno if that makes sense, but it makes sense to me :-)

anyhoo,.. so you have "Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod\yourtruckmod\yourtruckmod.scs"

Yeah, currently I have set it up as:

...\Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod/my_mod.zip/my_mod.scs

Holy hell, this actually worked and now I feel stupid to have asked this in the first place.

Thank you so much for helping me with something so trivial.

And thank you to everyone else who pitched in too.

any .SCS file, need this in the mod folder, just inside the mod folder, mod folder is the last place the mod should be
